Staff Services at Caring World

To keep up with the ever-changing field of home health care, Caring World requires its staff to be educated and well trained. Home health aides and nurses must maintain appropriate in-service training 12-13 hours per year. Once per month we offer traning for behavioral health counselors and office staff.

Required Staff Education:

• A comprehensive orientation for new employees
• Specialized orientation for home care aides and nurses In-service education — 12-13 hours per year for nurses and home care aides, consisting of a wide variety of client education materials concerning personal care, home safety, nutrition, and client-specific disease management
• Monthly in-service training for LCSWs, LPCs, and LMFTs

Additional Education:

• Ongoing management training for managers and supervisors
• Safety training for employees
• Sales training for case managers
• Training on developing clinical and personnel policies for RNs and executives.

Computer Training:

• Computer systems orientation for new employees
• Specialized training for a wide variety of PC applications, Internet access and usage, and electronic mail
