Caring World staff treats our clients with respect and keep all names, medical conditions, treatments, needs, and family information private. Your records and information is given to us with trust, with the understanding that these are to be kept strictly confidential, in accordance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA).
We do not offer your health information for rent nor sale, nor do we otherwise abuse your right to privacy and confidentiality. Information is never released unless appropriate authorization and consent is obtained.
Caring World has charts for each client, containing all physician's orders, notes, and pertinent medical information, which are securely stored in our filing cabinets. Staff members use these charts to record client treatments and medical conditions. A client can request to see this information through a formal process. Only individuals with relevant legal rights or those who have authorized by the client’s written permission may view the client's chart.
Caring World strongly safeguards our clients' rights. Any concern regarding confidentiality of client information may be expressed by contacting either our Executive Director or our Clinical Director at 732-698-0680.
